Yankee Stadium Features New Daktronics LED Displays Daktronics announced on April 9, 2026 , the completion of a comprehensive upgrade to the LED video boards and ribbon displays at Yankee Stadium. This extensive project enhances the visual presentation for attendees at the iconic New York venue, significantly increasing the total display area and improving image clarity. Enhanced Fan Experience Through Visual Upgrades The installation is noteworthy due to its substantial increase in display real estate and a marked improvement in resolution. The stadium now boasts a total of 22,355 square feet of Daktronics displays, providing a more immersive visual experience for every fan. This upgrade aims to elevate game-day entertainment and in-stadium communication. Key Display Specifications Detailed Central to the upgrade is a new 59x100-foot main centerfield board featuring variable content zoning, allowing for dynamic and multifaceted content delivery. The main boards now utilize 8mm pixel spacing, a significant enhancement from previous technology, while the ribbon modules incorporate 10mm pixel spacing. These improvements result in a resolution that is reportedly two to three times better than the stadium's prior display systems.
