The project, ready for the start of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, involved the installation of new large-format video walls and a high-brightness ribbon display, aimed at revitalizing the stadium's visual capabilities following extensive hurricane-related repairs. Enhanced Fan Engagement and Revenue Streams The upgrades are designed to significantly boost fan engagement and unlock new revenue opportunities for the ballpark. By incorporating bespoke, high-performance LED technology, the Tampa Bay Rays and Tropicana Field aim to provide a more immersive and dynamic viewing experience for attendees. This modernization follows critical repairs to the venue, ensuring its digital infrastructure is state-of-the-art. Key Display Specifications The project saw the installation of two new digiLED displays, each measuring 53.31 feet wide by 36.1 feet high, positioned on either side of the existing main video board. When combined with the central screen, these new additions create an expansive, seamless visual canvas measuring 171.42 feet wide by 36.1 feet high. Additionally, a new ribbon display, spanning 302 feet wide by 6 feet high, was integrated into the right field party deck, providing further opportunities for content delivery and advertising.
