The Tampa Bay Rays debuted massive digiLED video walls and a ribbon display at Tropicana Field on April 13, 2026, enhancing fan experience and advertising capabilities.

Tropicana Field Enhances Fan Experience with New digiLED Displays The Tampa Bay Rays unveiled significant upgrades to Tropicana Field on April 13, 2026 , installing new large-format stadium LED video walls and a ribbon display. This project, completed in collaboration with digiLED , aims to transform the in-stadium visual experience for fans attending the team's 2026 season games. Seamless Visual Canvas and Immersive Advertising The core of the renovation includes the installation of two new digiLED displays , each measuring 53.31 ft wide by 36.1 ft high, positioned on either side of the existing main video board. These additions create a unified, expansive visual canvas that spans 171.42 ft in width. Complementing these are a new 302 ft wide by 6 ft high ribbon display along the right field party deck, providing dynamic content and advertising opportunities throughout the venue. Sharper Visuals and Deeper Fan Engagement The upgrade is designed to deliver significantly sharper visuals and more robust fan engagement. The new LED technology promises improved clarity and brightness, crucial for displaying real-time game statistics, replays, and promotional content. This investment by the Tampa Bay Rays is expected to not only enhance the atmosphere for attendees but also to open new avenues for advertising revenue through dynamic and interactive visual content.
